I Adore You

The mood was stirred
by the jasmine scent
yawning from your curly hair
A bird chirped close by

The twinkling crystals
lighting the seven heavens blushed
and I felt the rush
of a passive breeze continually

A couple of leaves
from the shivering trees
we sat under
flirted for our affection

Our admiration for each other
danced to the raunchy anthems
of the nights’ crawly creatures
They were trying to score points

We exercised our will
to the delight of-
the scattered audience
and they silently applauded.
